Maybe a slight exaggeration but the fact is that Paul says the law was temporary. This means it was inserted into the picture for a short term only, until its removal. Paul shifts back to the promise given to and through Abraham. Saying that it is by faith and always has been by faith, and that law was a temporary thing thrown in to govern wrongdoing, temporarily.
So law was never meant to be in control. It was TEMPORARY until Christ came. He is now here, he has come, so why do people continue to say we must remain under law? NUTS.
What are the possible conditions now for remaining under law??
IF YOU ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW. So then, the condition for remaining under law is DISBELIEVING in living by the Spirit, which Spirit Christ died to provide us.
It follows then that IF YOU ARE UNDER LAW YOU ARE NOT BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT.
If you are not led by the Spirit of Christ, you are not led by Christ, and you are not a Christian.
To be led by the Spirit you can look to Christ to lead you.
