Strictly speaking, all that is not of the mind of the Spirit, is of the mind of the flesh. And since it is that no-one fully relates to others only from the mind of the Spirit, then what is relayed contains information that also comes from the mind of the flesh.
Romans 8. 6-11 The mind of the flesh is death.
People speak of “but we have the mind of Christ” as though it means they possess his mind. But it more probably means that though we can not understand the mind of God, yet we have had living with us Christ, and we have experienced his mind at work in the world, and it is this that gives us information about the mind of God.
The Spirit renews all things, and our mind is renewed as we continue in Christ. The reality is that people make mistakes, are not perfect, and will continue to produce some things from the old mind along with the new. This is why it is essential to follow the instruction “be filled with the Spirit” as much as you can, so that your mind is acquainted with the mind of Christ and your conversation amongst others will be guided by your acquaintance with him.
The mind of the flesh is what is active in Romans 7, where it has total control in unbelievers, because it is a complex manifestation of the original lie. It is only when the law [of sin and death] is removed by grace, that the mind of the Spirit [of truth] can assert itself. [himself].
