How nice to be “freed from all things”, assuming of course that you want to be freed from them. Some have sought to establish their own righteousness, not wanting to be freed from the law which prevents them from attaining righteousness. Rom.10-3
Yet Acts 13-39 seems to make it clear that there are things they cannot be freed from by Moses law. That only through Jesus can they be freed from “all things”. “..and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the law of Moses”
This presents an immediate contradiction for those seeking to continue life under law. They want to have a Christianity which contains not only Christ but also the law, even though here we are being told that the law cannot free us “from all things”. So are they including the law which frees them from SOME things and then they use Christ to free them from the “rest of the things”? – Nonsensical. See Gal 2-21, Rom 9-31. etc etc. etc.
